2010 Toy Drive
Now thru Dec. 1st
Your Student Government Association is honored to sponsor the 2010 OLHCC Annual Toy Drive. We are excited to announce that this year’s toys will be donated to House of Ruth, Inc., a non-profit organization that helps hundreds of New Orleans area women and children find permanent housing and stability.
You can help us make this a special Christmas for our extra special children in the Algiers area. Simply bring your unopened toys (do not wrap them) to the OLHCC Student Life & Campus Ministry office. All toys are due by Wednesday morning, December 1st, at 10 a.m. We will deliver the gifts to the House of Ruth.
In honor of our annual Advent Prayer Service tradition, all toys will be placed under the Christmas tree during the tree lighting ceremony, at 12:30 p.m., in the courtyard by the Hurricane Café.
Remember, even the smallest gifts can bring the deepest joy to children who otherwise might not get anything.

Annual Christmas Party!!

Wind down from a hectic semester, while celebrating the Christmas holiday! Your campus Student Government Association and Office of Alumni Affairs are hosting the Annual OLHCC Christmas Party. This year’s event will be held at The Rose Garden, located at 5616 Citrus Blvd., just off of Clearview Pkwy., in River Ridge from 8:00-11:00 p.m. The event is free for all OLHCC students, faculty, staff, and alumni. There will be dinner, music, and plenty of fun! RSVP by December 1st, at SGAChristmas@olhcc.edu.
